Glorified Good Works Club

I have decided that “glorified good works club” is fine with me as a descriptor for Space for God, rather than a put down.

This stems from a conversation with David at the Space for God retreat when he told us a friend had asked him if we were “just” a glorified good works club rather than a church.

 

What else should a Church be? If by good works we mean being living agents of change in Jesus name and in his example and in club you mean an open organisation which is shaped by its members and their collaborative purpose….

 

I really do think it is that simple 

We are glorified in Love

We do good works because we must, it is our living faith and without them it is empty words

 

 

I really can’t see what is wrong with that!!!
