No More Towers
No more towers
Overreaching
No more towers
Slaving to conscript labout to force your endeavours
Onto the aching soil
No more spires stabbing
No more piercing the moon til she bleeds
Without towers
There is light
Instead of shadows on the land
Without towers we can touch each other
Through the window frames
No more towers
To replace reason and love
With ego and fear
Without towers the birds will roost on our shoulders
And peck grain from our outstretched hands
