What has Chocolate got to do with Lent?

Come and join us in an informal atmosphere as we explore, and discuss, the Christian journey during the time of Lent leading up to Easter.

The informal discussion is focused on the movie Chocolat and takes place during our time of worship. 

Within the movie there are many connections to be made to the way power is used to control people, the generosity of one person to the community and how it is interpreted.  We witness the reconciliation in broken relationships and the torment of ones own guilt and shame. 

These also shared in the journey of Christ on His way to the cross and the community which Jesus leaves behind.

As the movie unfolds so does the discussion topics. If you would like to be a part of the discussion join with us on a Sunday evening at 6.30 for tea and coffee followed at 7pm for worship.
